I appreciate your enthusiasm.
That's very true. Shame on us for being lazy and waiting for the right moment.
The 16th district teams needs to be more re-united. I will talk to digital2k and arrange to meet Zoe in few days.

I have bought stamps/envelops and printed # of letters by myself and going desk to desk and urging Desi's to sign and send letters.
Great! Everyone is paying me for the stamps and sending letters.
Cheers! I urge everyone do this to their respective work location. It is working like magic! Believe me!
We are all little lazy in this winter weather, just need a little push! That's all!

No, because those cases are not outside of processing times.
I did not understand 'are not outside of processing time'. Can you please explain in detail.
My other thought is for July 2007 485 filer, 180 days is already completed. Assume the namecheck started on Aug 2007....

Calling all EB3 INDIA applicants with a PD before October 1, 2001.
Friends we have been current since November 1st of this year. Many of us still have not heard anything about our cases. If you have this PD you have already been waiting over 7 yrs. What should we do to get USCIS's attention to look at our cases. It seems service requests are useless. They send the same old letter to everyone and thesere is no action. Whats our best options. Lets gather and look at ideas on what we can do. We know USCIS is so random.
Friends this is very imp for us. We have already suffered the most and are the most behind in dates compared to any other Category and country. We waited in pain and silence for years for our PD to become current. Now it finally is but still we see no action. Guys speak up lets try to do all we can. In this economy last thing we need is a waste of our 7 yrs of waiting and our files falling through some crack because of a random USCIS process.
Any thoughts, ideas ? whats worked for others and whats not. Will we get our green cards while we are still alive ????????

It is that time again, the eager wait for the next month's Visa bulletin. It is almost like a monthly ritual for many.
Although there is no clear logic to the movements, there are folks in the line that hold some hope that this might be the one that will get them closer to the GC counter. (happens every month ! :p)
Since predicting VB dates is as close to pulling stuff out of thin air. My gaze in the crystal ball tells EB2-I and EB2-C to be the same: Feb 05 (hoping for a quarterly spill over in Jan 2010 :) )
As for Eb3 even the crystal ball turns foggy. I very much wish EB3-I sees some forward movement in the upcoming bulletin; may be at par with or at least close to ROW/China/Mex/Phil.
Let the Gazing Start... ;)

Sheila -
I noticed that you edited post (Re:CA) after my post suggesteing CA is equivalent to Bachelor's program.
Your original post on 12/12/2008
Almost all holders of the CA have a 3 year BCom. We have had, as far as we know, 100% approvals showing the CA = US Masters with the proper documentation and a professor's expert opinion letter. Also with AMIETE.
Your post after editing on 02/23/2009

It seems that you have changed position after my posting.
Have a good day!

actually Gotcher has a very valid point. USCIS creates rules based on their need and 'flavor of the month'. They should be open with their practices. We can then calculate the time it will take to get out of this mess.
Once FBI name checks were a great deal, now they are ok to issue GCs in the interm, thousands were screwed in the process. Some times it is FIFO sometimes it is received date, sometimes it is something else. There are thousands whose professional lives are hanging at the mercy of these rules and arcane methods of functioning.

Form I-140 Petition Must be Approved Prior to a Favorable Determination of a 106(c) AC21 portability request.
On October 18, 2005, USCIS designated Matter of Al Wazzan, A95 253 422 (Jan. 12, 2005) as a USCIS Adopted Decision. This AAO decision established that a petition that is deniable (i.e., not approvable), whether or not the petition is denied 180 days or more after the filing of the adjustment of status application, cannot serve as the basis for approval of adjustment of status to permanent residence under the portability provision of INA 204(j). An un-adjudicated Form I-140 petition is not made valid merely through the act of filing the petition with USCIS or through the passage of 180 days. Rather, the petition must have been filed on behalf of an alien who was entitled to the employment-based classification at the time that the petition was filed, and therefore must be approved prior to a favorable determination of a 106(c) AC21 portability request.

Many of them were not confident of clearing labour on their own credentials ( BSC Zoology, BBA, BCOM etc..) or probably wanted to jump the line.
What make you think BCOM or BBA or BSC is less than any other Bachelor degree EB3 own labor guys have. I am not here to defend or oppose LS. But before you talk about people who are not from same educational background as you, you should come out of bottom of Rock you have been living and breathe some fresh air. I for one, who has BCom and able to get my labor and GC cleared without using any of short cuts.:mad::mad:

And you have to fight the Antis online too. I have been doing it for years.
Now they are getting a conference call to "teach" them how to spread propaganda in the comments section of newspapers and blogs!!!
You'll be surprised how racist they are towards Chinese and Indian people, especially when they are discussing amongst themselves in private forums. Not only that, they even malign any sane level-headed Caucasian American who speaks out against their approach.

I filed I-140/1-485 concurrently July 4th. Got my EAD and AP. I-140/1-485 still pending. Is it true that you get FP notice only when your I-140 is approved?
I know lot of people who got FP notices for concurrently filed I-485
