HOUSTON WE HAVE HIT OUR LOWEST POINT: RELIANT, MINUTE MAID, TOYOTA

Friday night, I came home bought mid-night and decided to watch some news.  I swear, I was not looking for nothing negative to write about before KHOU Channel 11 dropped this beast of a story right in my lap.  Channel 11 investigated local stadium foods.  I thought to myself, WOW, this is not going to be good as a former employee of the Astrodome.  

It's one thing that we have to suffer mediocre teams but now they are feeding us mouse droppings and fruit flies.  Personally, I am not a fan of stadium foods because the volume of people being served as well as employees preparing the food.  It's my own little phobia but I will eat it occasionally like them Sirloin Hot Dogs on the 2nd Level of Reliant.  That thing is sick and that means awesome.  So, we have bad teams that's feeding us crap.    

They better be happy Marvin Zindler is no longer with us.  Marvin wouldn't have been as nice.  So lets explore what our beautiful stadiums are putting in our bellies.  Marvin was one of the best local TV personalities.

Toyota Center was accused of improperly storing food at the wrong temperature

Now if you have an eccentric type of taste bud, try some fruit flies at Reliant Stadium

In all fairness, KHOU contacted all three of the stadiums for a comment and all but one replied.  Take a big guess who didn't reply at the time of the story, you got it, Reliant.  Excellent job by KHOU.

WRAP IT UP

Now it makes perfect sense, after game 3 versus the Cowboys, the Tailgate capital (Texans) made drastic changes to it's Tailgate policy.  Don't eat your own food prepared in a parking lot, come in our cool stadium and eat some fruit fly infested food.

Not surprise one bit affiliates of Reliant would be the stadium with no comment.  I think I am more surprise a topic like this is just now reported.  As stated earlier, as a teen I worked at the Astrodome and that change my whole perspective on stadium food.
