TALK RADIO - MENTAL NUDITY by LM

4-05-2011

TALK RADIO PSYCHOLOGICAL NUDITY (Michael Savage reference)

Under the guidelines dictated by the FCC, most stations can't achieve this goal of mind. Only the clever personalities can accomplish this task.  What is Mental Talk Nudity?  The only way I can explain it, is when a person remove all filters and GO IN.  My version of talk radio mental nudity is not a personality who aims for trigger words purposely but they honestly believe what they are saying.  Another way I can describe my version of mental nudity is a HIP HOP song that went "under the radar".  Jay Z did a remix of His song "YOU DONT KNOW" with M.O.P.  During the intro of the song, one of the artist from MOP screamed FIYAH.  That was his shot and he knew it  so he was GOING ALL IN.  The mere fact dude screamed the way he did, I was like "THAT'S WHATS UP".  Of course he could have been lit up on  illegal substances but that's besides the point.  Below is my CUT.

Does mental nudity mean cursing 24/7? No, it means saying what you mean and not sugar-coating your thoughts to massage relationships in your particular industry.  Everyone is so image conscious that they are basically media robots.

About a week ago, Ralph Cooper (1430AM) had Lesbian Craig in as a guest host, in the last segment of the show is a perfect example of Talk Mental Nudity #GOINGIN

Am I the only human on Planet Earth tired of flipping the channel from Fox to MSNBC to CNN to KHOU to ABC and hearing the same thing.  I am beginning to wonder what's the degree plan for media professionals in today's universities.  Are you sitting in a seminar room with gang of 400 students learning how to read a "liner" or TV Prompt?  This is not a gripe I can pin on any particular host because the industry directs them to "play by  the rules" but man oh man it's a breath of fresh air when you hear a personality say what's really on their mind.  What's the problem: lack of creative control the problem, the public fascinated with negative  news or professionals afraid to buck the perceived perception.

Every now and then (sarcasm), I would like to hear positive news.  You will hear a story about Vince Young doing something but never hear a report on his charitable contributions.

We live in a society where we are force fed negative news all day every day because positive news don't sell.  Well at least that's what they all think since they are constantly feeding us negative news.  Screw all that, I want a personality to be a personality not a creation of an executive chillaxin in Greenwich, Connecticut.  Imagine a world in news if media personalities could drive their own stories unfiltered.

OUT.
